The residences at the University of Calgary are more than just a place to live – they’re a community! With a variety of room types and floor plans to choose from, there’s something for everyone. The residences are located in close proximity to academic buildings and other campus amenities, making it easy for students to get around. In addition, the residences offer a variety of social and recreational activities, making it easy for students to meet new friends and have fun.
All first-year students under the age of 21 live in single or double-occupancy rooms in a first-year dormitory-style residence and are guaranteed residence for the first two years of their study at the University of Calgary. All second-year students, including transfer and international students, live in furnished two or three-bedroom suite-style apartments with a shared kitchenette, bathroom, and a private bedroom. Undergraduate students in their third year or higher of post-secondary and under the age of 27 have the option of living in a furnished studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and four-bedroom units with full kitchens.
