Finally, bursary recipients often form strong connections with Western University faculty and staff, which can lead to internships, job opportunities, and academic advice and support. Given all of these benefits, it is clear why applying to Western University Bursaries is a great option for many students!

Western Bursaries

Western bursaries are need-based, and the amount of each bursary is determined by the student’s financial need. These bursaries supplement students’ primary sources of funding such as OSAP, bank loans/lines of credit and parental/spousal contributions. Students can apply for a bursary by filling out an application form and submitting it to the financial aid office.

Eligible students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, be registered at the main Western campus in a full or part-time program and demonstrate a genuine financial need.
